MISSING EXPERT HUNTS fix

The attached document details a fix for an issue where both ALPHA DOGGS and TURBO DOGGS may be missing the EXPERT HUNTS.

We do not yet have a direct detailed solution for fixing this issue if using a non-Windows based computer.  The issue is that the ARCHIVE attribute on the folders in the storage of the speaker unit must be cleared to allow for the EXPERT HUNTS to be listed properly on the remote.  The remote needs a full synchronization after the folders are changed (this should start automatically when both remote and speaker unit are power cycled after the speaker unit is disconnected from the USB port).

    this resolved the missing expert hunts, and i also have determined that the most currant filmware version is installed 1.3.

    This stinks, after 25 minutes on hold the flippant customer service gal (with no apology)rattles off links faster than one can write them down and says its as easy as 1-2-3. I have a decent PC and it does recognize this device but not as a storage device. Been trying for near an hour, getting nowhere. Been hosed $150

    @ gary sullivan - Sorry you had a bad experience but we have been having some phone troubles lately and are working hard to resolve them.  If the PC recognizes the device, it HAS to be a storage device (despite what the PC names it).  I will open you a ticket and attempt to assist you thru that rather than ask a bunch of questions and answers thru this thread.  Please put your phone # in the ticket and add a comment when you can be reached with the call and PC up and running and I'll see if I can't call you and try to get this resovled.

    I talked to Bubba today and he was very helpful sending me a link to repair my loss of expert hunts. I am not a wiz around the computer but found the pictures enough to get me through the process.Thanx Bubba

    I also found great difficulty in downloading sounds to my Alpha Dogg. When you spend almost 300 dollars on a hunting product you expect it to be a little more "USER FRIENDLY". Please get back to me as soon as possible to resolve this situation. I am more frustrated every day I'm not able to hunt. Thank you again for your cooperation.   Keith Vakauza
